Our clients and our team members are a lot alike — they harness the power of hard work, relationships, and collaboration to make things happen. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following abilities or attributes:
Coming out of law school, I seemingly had everything a young attorney could ever want — a job at a Big Four accounting firm with great co-workers, awesome benefits, job security, and even the ability to commute with my wife to work every day.
What I didn't have, though, was a sense of fulfillment — we were working with large companies to get them hundreds of thousands, or millions of dollars of tax benefits, and the money didn't seem to have any impact on them. It didn't create any loyalty to our firm to continue doing work with us, as the clients sent out RFPs every year for the same business.
And so, just 366 days after my first day, I collected my signing bonus and left without any regrets. I moved back to my hometown and started my private law practice as a side hustle while working for a trial court judge. It didn't take me long to feel like a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
My journey is similar to the journey that a lot of our clients take. Many of them have steady jobs, but they also have thoughts, ideas, and inspiration — and occasionally enough motivation to try something on their own. For many of them, it's just a side hustle. For some of them, it needs to be a replacement for their income from day one. And for a small percentage, they're setting out to disrupt entire industries.
We don't believe that politicians create jobs. We don't believe that the government creates jobs. In truth, 95% of net job creation comes from businesses that are fewer than five years old. So if we really care about creating jobs, and we really care about our economy, let's help those job creators who are facing a constant uphill battle — startups and small businesses.

You could stay.
